LickiMat Classic Buddy XL – More Than a Treat, It’s Quality Time

At Dog Tales Club, we believe enrichment is about more than keeping dogs busy. It creates happier, healthier lives through purposeful play and everyday moments together.

The LickiMat Classic Buddy XL turns feeding into a calming and rewarding experience. Use it after an exciting walk, while you work from home, or during stressful moments like grooming, fireworks, or vet visits. It gives your dog a positive activity that helps them relax and stay engaged.

The textured surface encourages your dog to slow down, lick, and enjoy every bite. Licking is a natural calming behaviour that releases endorphins. It helps reduce boredom, eases anxiety, and prevents unwanted behaviours caused by frustration or excess energy.

Spread your dog’s favourite treats across the mat. Try yoghurt, peanut butter, wet food, raw meals, purees, soaked kibble, or healthy spreads. You can also hide supplements or medication inside. Freeze the mat for an even longer-lasting enrichment challenge.

Every licking session supports your dog’s wellbeing. Licking increases saliva production, which helps digestion and supports healthy teeth and gums. It also helps clean the tongue and freshen breath.

We make the LickiMat Classic Buddy XL from durable, non-toxic, food-grade TPR for everyday use. It measures 30.5 × 25.5 cm, making it ideal for dogs of all sizes and even cats. You can safely use it in the freezer or microwave, and it is easy to hand wash after every use.

Dog Tales Club Tip: Looking for even more enrichment? Pair the LickiMat Classic Buddy XL with the LickiMat Classic Soother to add variety to your dog’s routine. Alternate between the two textures to keep every enrichment session exciting, mentally stimulating, and rewarding.
